Drug Church at the Aladdin Theater, March 24, 2026 (and the brief introspection of a loser)

Going to a Hardcore/Punk show on a Tuesday night isn’t the best idea for the aging, out-of-shape 34-year-old. But I was glad to see my favorite band, Drug Church, perform at the Aladdin Theater in Portland, OR. This was the second time I got to see them (the first time was in 2024 when they toured with Alkaline Trio). After spending most of 2025 stuck at home (and work), the opportunity to actually have fun was, well, fun.

Drug Church also performed their latest single, Pynch. Given the subject matter and my ambitions to improve myself this year, it felt like the stars had aligned for me. Never too late to work on yourself, I suppose.
